Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 19, 2026 · Last updated: August 19, 2026
In short: we collect the information you give us directly (contact form submissions, and account details if you sign up for the client portal), plus basic technical information needed to serve the site. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't run advertising or analytics trackers on this site. You can ask us what we hold, correct it, or delete it at any time by emailing us below.
Who we are
[LEGAL ENTITY NAME], doing business as Player Fund Inc ("Player Fund," "we," "us"), is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our registered address is [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. You can reach us at investors@player-fund.com for any privacy question or request.
What we collect
- Identifiers. Name and email address, when you submit our contact form or sign up for the client portal.
- Account data. If you create a client portal account: your email, a password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider, never in plain text), and optionally your name.
- Content you submit. Anything you write in the contact form's message field.
- Basic technical data. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) generated by our hosting provider as part of serving the site.
We do not run advertising pixels, behavioral trackers, or analytics scripts on this site (see our Cookie Policy for detail), and we do not knowingly collect any sensitive personal information (health, precise geolocation, biometric data) through this site.
Where it comes from
Everything above is collected directly from you, whether through the contact form or the client portal sign-up flow. We do not purchase or receive personal information about you from third-party data brokers.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To respond to your enquiry submitted via the contact form — necessary to take steps at your request prior to a potential engagement.
- To provide the client portal (account creation, sign-in, and access to your documents) — necessary to perform our contract with you as a client.
- To keep the site and portal secure and working correctly (server logs, fraud/abuse prevention) — our legitimate interest in operating the service safely.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run this site and the client portal, under agreements that limit their use of your data to providing that service:
- Our hosting provider, to serve the website.
- Our database and authentication provider (Supabase), to store client portal accounts and documents.
- Our transactional email provider (Resend), to send account verification emails.
- Our form-handling provider (Formspree), to deliver contact form submissions to us.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where this involves a transfer of personal information out of the EU/UK, we rely on those providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent recognized transfer mechanism.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and then deleted or archived. Client portal account data is retained for the life of the account, plus a reasonable period afterward to comply with recordkeeping obligations, and is deleted on request subject to those obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your personal information
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information, so this right has nothing to act on today)
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect any)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
If you are in the EU or UK, you additionally have the right to restrict processing, object to processing, withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email investors@player-fund.com. We will respond within 30 days (or 45 days where CCPA/CPRA applies).
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn we have inadvertently collected a child's information, we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we hold, including encryption in transit and access controls that limit who can see client documents to that client alone. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting your rights will be communicated by updating this page, and by email where we have your address on file.
